Mindful Meditation for Health Care Professionals Series

Explore the foundations of mindful meditation and supportive meditation practices to help you, the professional, stay grounded, present, and decrease burnout.

This is a four-week course running four Saturdays in March at 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

March 9, 16, 23, 30th.

Each class includes a guided meditation practice, discussion on the foundations of mindfulness, and time for inquiry.

Topics Include:

  • Mindfulness of the body

  • Mindfulness of emotions

  • Mindfulness of the mind

  • Mindfulness of qualities of the mind

  • Compassion Practice

Considerations for your class:

Dress comfortably and in layers.

Restoration Room provides chairs, some mats, a few bolsters, blankets.

Feel free to bring anything that will make you feel comfortable.

Your Facilitator

This course is facilitated by Ann Adams as part of her two-year training with the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP).  This International course was developed with the leadership of Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.

 Ann is an Integrative Nurse Coach certified through the American Holistic Nurses Association. She holds a BS in Nutrition, and an MS in Physical Education. Ann is a Mindfulness Meditation Facilitator, an ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist, and a Healing Touch Practitioner. She also holds certifications in HeartMath, Yoga, and is a Certified Pain Management Nurse and Certified Addictions RN (CARN). Ann has practiced nursing for over 20 years, mainly focusing on Whole Health.
