Adult drawing class continues with Jenny!
To ring in the holiday spirit we'll be drawing candy canes with brilliant reflection and color!
This class will be all about practicing creating smoothness and dimension through shading techniques using prisma colored pencils.
Be lead through a guided drawing/coloring session to create your candy cane, and then one (or two!) on your own.
You'll have the option to turn candy canes into magnets, greeting cards or ornaments.
$25/person. All instruction, supplies and light snacks and beverages will be provided!
Your Tucson Artist Jennifer Ortman
Jennifer Ortman is a Tucson-based illustrator, artist and writer. She specializes in pen and ink drawings working within a universally relatable, but equally personal, reality, creating characters and scenes that draw us into a world we feel we know, and, perhaps, have been.
An invitation for the imagination, her artwork serves as a catalyst for exploration beyond this world and intimately within.
Beginning as a self-taught traditional artist, Jennifer soon moved into poetry and book illustration. As an artist, she wears “many hats” and enjoys expanding her offerings through different mediums and drawing styles including caricatures, window and mural painting, watercolor, crafting, and woodwork. Holding a degree in secondary education and many years experience as a classroom teacher, Jennifer enjoys teaching art classes within the Tucson community to both children and adults. She is passionate about inspiring others through her gifts to connect with their inner truth and their own flow of divine creative expression.
